Wow. I can't believe this is my last weekend in NJ. This is so surreal. I just got back from going to Olive Garden and seeing Role Models with Sabeen. It was our last outing together before I move. So crazy. ahhh! I can't believe that after all these years of dreaming about moving and seriously pursuing it for the last year, that in six days I'll be moving into my beautiful house.
This past week I got a few more things accomplished. My dad bought me a refrigerator, I bought a washer/dryer. I set up my home owner's insurance and called the cable, electricity, and water companies to set that up. Today I packed some more of my old room at my dad's house. I dropped off more fabric at Maria's to have more valances for the sun room. Tomorrow I need to pick up the valances, stop by my storage unit, possibly pack more at my dads, and figure out how all the cat carriers are going to fit in my car.
I feel like my head is going in 1,000 different directions and I'm running out of time. Phew! I can't wait until Thursday morning.
Peace,
Alli

I voted!!
Ok so that doesn't have to do with me moving to SC, but today's election day and I did indeed vote. Now back to moving.
My mom and I decided I needed to visit my house in progress one more time before move in day, so we took a trip down from Oct. 30-Nov. 2. It was amazing to see my house again. It was also amazing to be in Myrtle Beach again. It already feels like home to me. As usual, I didn't want to leave.
While there we of course took tons of pics of my house (I'll post some later once I find the cord) and took a video of the house. We had lunch/dinner at our favorite local restaurants. We finally met the dog I've wanted to adopt since I first saw him in August. His name is Benji and he's about 4 years old and is a black miniature poodle. He's such a wonderful bundle of life and love. I can't wait to give him his forever home.

We also went to the outlets. I ended up finding this great furniture store where I bought my dining room set, curio cabinet, office desk, and bed for the guest room. I only like white furniture and it's amazing how hard it is to find decent stuff that isn't expensive. Now I won't have to buy stuff from IKEA! Other than that we just had fun. The time went by way too quickly and now I'm back in NJ... but only for 16 more days!! Once I move to Myrtle Beach I am never leaving. Seriously, I'm going to have that in my pre-nup. I've found my happy place, my place where I'm at peace, my place where my life makes sense. I've been around the world and there is no place I'd rather be than Myrtle Beach. I feel so blessed that I am financially, emotionally, and physically able to make this move.
I cannot wait to live the life I've imagined.
Peace,
Alli
